| Dress Code The use of a dress code greatly enhances the unity of the dance class and allows the instructor to work with the student on posture and proper alignment. Unless otherwise specified, all dancers are required to wear a black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Short skirts are permissible, no tutus please. Boys: Black shorts or pants, white t-shirt, black or white shoes Jazz: Black jazz shoes Tap: Black tap shoes Tumbling: Leotard, shorts, bare feet Adults: Dance clothing of choice All students must have their hair in a bun or pony tail, and pulled up off their face. No t-shirts or cover-ups. No jewelry, except small pierced earrings if necessary. Dancewear basics are available at the studio, at lower cost than at a retail store. This amenity is provided as a convenience to parents and students. |
